Upon request we can hold an option for 7 days for your reservation. Booking is only confirmed if first payment is paid ( not later than 20 days) and a contract signed between the parties. Rest payment is to be paid not later than 30 days before departure. We wish to remind you that unless our Bank has received full payment, or proof of payment advised to our office prior to your departure, NO YACHT will be allowed to leave. There will be no exceptions in regard to this requirement.
In order to facilitate the speedy and efficient processing of formalities prior to and upon your arrival in Turkey, we would much appreciate if you could supply the following information a minimum of 10 days prior to the client's arrival:
- Crew list with number of clients in group, their passport numbers, nationalities and a copy of skippers license.
- Estimated time of arrival with flight details.
- If any last minute extras required (to be paid at base), please contact us for reconfirmation.
- Provisions list of your clients (if) to be ready in advance.
In the event of a cancellation the following charges will apply:
- Prior to 10 weeks before the client's departure, full refund is made.
- Between 4 to 10 weeks, the deposited amount will not be returned, unless the same charter period is rebooked.
- Less than 4 weeks no refund will be made.
- In any case owner will hold the 5% of the total amount as a cancellation fee.
EMBARKATION - DISEMBARKATION TIME
Delivery of the yacht to the client has always to be on Saturdays at 18.00h., check - out is on Friday latest at 18:00h. and redelivery on Saturdays at 09.00h. We would much appreciate if you notice the following useful information before your arrival at Base.
To inspect completely and thoroughly the yacht during "check-in", her hull, motor, accessories, equipment, electronics, rigging and sails. Remarks can be written on the " acceptance statement of the yacht" which must be signed from the skipper before departure
To redeliver the yacht clean, with everything arranged and at the same condition as delivered
That they are committed to pay for any loss, damage, breakage of machine, material etc., checked and pointed out by Yüksel Yachting personnel, not covered by the Insurance Policy or under the deductible (excess) of the said policy
SAILING CERTIFICATES / LICENSES
The Harbor Master as proof of seamanship requires these. All skippers must have an official license issued by an authority or from a Sailing School of his Country.
Yüksel Yachting has the right to refuse clients access to their yachts if they do not have the necessary qualifications or are considered unfit to take delivery of the yacht. A skipper can be arranged at charteres expenses.
All yachts are fully insured against total loss and third party liability with self-behalf of the amount of the deposit. The loss of dinghy, damage of sails, outboard motor or windsurfer are within the self behalf and not covered by the insurance. Crew and their personal possessions are not covered by the yachts insurance.
We highly recommend taking care for a personal insurance coverage. The Skipper must be holder
of a valid sailing license or provide a proof of his previous sailing experience
